Random story I just pulled outta my butt

It was a really rainy day on this special day. A day so special it can change Toby's life forever. It was the day he pops the big question to the girl from across the street, Shy. Toby was a quiet young man that saw life as too short and unpredictable. Shy was the total opposite. Though Toby didn't see Shy that much he knew that she was the one. The only communication between the two was every morning at the bus stop when she says, "hi", to him.
Toby responds, "hey", and looks down at his Timberlands that makes himself seem taller.
Yup that was it... Anyways yeah it was a special day for this 5 foot 8 Blockbuster clerk that dropped out of college to pursue music with his hard rock band, The Devils of Sodom. After two years of failed gigs and the lead singers death put a screaching holt to that dream. Shy was an aspiring actress and a part time model. She works at a small Mexican bodega Uptown. She is also smart and quite wild and parties ever other night. Toby's social life isn't much. Hangs out with friends around town and steals playboys from the gas station. Anyways back to the day. Shy was waiting for the bus to the city. Bus number 5 always. Toby walks in looking sharper than usual wearing a v-neck t-shirt, brand new nikes, and jeans that showed the V. Like the Ambercrombie male models. He briskly walks to Shy's side and gives a hesitant "hi." Shy doesn't answer so Toby asks again, just a lot louder. This finally got her attention. She quickly removes the headphones from her ears and gave a quick "hey." Then put her ear phones back in. Toby then clears his throat and asks "Lovely Weather were having."
Shy looks at him with a puzzled stare noticing that it was raining. She gives a slight grin and looks away. Her bus then arrived and climbed on. She turned around and waved goodbye to Toby. Toby failed but gained a small victory that day. He finally said more than 1 word to Shy. All day at work all he can think of is next time... To be continued...
