2008

The most unpredictable year of my life. A roller coaster of emotion filled with love and hate and a little bit in between. My New Years Resolution for that year ended once the ball dropped. The upside of the whole year was Beauty and the Beast and "Practice Makes Pointless." But like all good things... they come to a pretty sad end. I feel like I accomplished a lot this year too. Poems, songs, etc. Better luck next time with the love life lol. I wish you all a healthy worthwhile 2009. I sure need one.

Today was a rather long day first with cleaning the house. Then my mom decides to go to NYC with lots of intentions. On the way I get a phone call from my dad and he said that we are going to Borgata tomorrow to celebrate my Kuya Marvins Achievement. Yes Atlantic City. Yay. Anyway on the way to New York we hit mad traffic. It was like a 30 minute wait. When we finally got to Port Authority we started running to the TKTS store to buy some broadway tickets. Like the traffic coming in, it was long. My first pick was Jersey Boys but that is always sold out, then I picked Spamalot but only bad seats remained, and finally I settled on Grease. Before the show we took pics on top of the stairway to no where lol. Yes, there is one. It's just there so you can get a good view of Time Square. And ate at this place called Saigon 48.















During the show I was like OMG this Sucks so bad. The Movie was ten times better. The upside is that I met Ace Young of American Idol and saw Brook Shields.

Chasing Pavements- Adele

Happy day after Christmas.
Yesterday was a fun day filled with both love and hate. It was great.
I wish I had time to take pictures but I was to caught up with the spirit of Christmas and all. I hope you all had a great Christmas as well.
I love this song. Adele has a great voice.

semi good day

Today was a half day and the start of my kinda two week vacay. Righteous! I went to Wendy's with Rian and macked on my triple cheeseburger while me and Rian talked about music. On the walk to Nick's house, I'm not sure but I think it was Mrs. Cutola's Daughter singing twinkle twinkle. After she sang the first line "Twinkle, Twinkle little Star," then me and Rian screamed in unison "how I wonder what you are." Then we kept responding back and forth until we finished the very kiddie poem. It was very amusing. Then Rian and I parted ways then I headed over to Nick's. I played Rockband and killed my voice completly. Like torn to shit. LOL. Yup. Then I capped off the day watching CHE Part 1. It sucks and the ending is very unfulfilling. But I want to see part 2. Maybe they'll show him getting assassinated. Che was a cool guy but I think the movie made him look small and weak. At this point I'm very sleepy. Night Night.

I bled today and it felt good... I wasn't cutting

Yeah the area where my leg was cut from ice skating got cut up again. And for some reason the bleeding made me feel good... yeah I have a real problem. I don't think this is a good sign. I gotta get some band aids in the house just in case. And let me clarify that I'm not a cutter. I think that it is wrong and disgusting. Joking about it is ok though. I do it all the time. So if you accidentally bleed and it seemed too feel good, you should be more careful of what you do.

I gave a link about this kid who made a book called "How to Talk to Girls", this kid is a nine year old fourth grader. Today I went on yahoo and saw that he is back in the news... he's getting an effing movie deal!!! WTF!!! The book was 46 pages long! How will that work?? The link. What b.s.
But Snl also learned about this kid and did a little skit on Weekend Update.

I'm soooo bummed out. Black Friday was pretty uneventful except hearing that a Walmart employee was trampled to death and a pregnant lady almost lost her child cause of shopping on this day. People these days... Do anything for a great deal. To be honest this should be a jewish holiday lol (Wow I found that in bad taste). But in the spirit of Black Friday I watched "This Christmas" awwww Lauren London...

Happy Thanksgiving

Today was one of my favorite days of the year. I love Turkey Day so much that I want to bring it behind the middle school and get it pregnant. (30 Rock Reference) LOL! The Lunch and Dinner was amazing. My Tita Leah really out did here self again. It was amazing! Then after that I watched the Titans vs. The Lions.(Mercy Killing) Then I went chasing my cousins around the house cause they stole my hat. Today was great. Thank you lord and Tita Leah for a great meal!

Ok. About the title of this blog. I'm listening to a little bit of Kanye West: 808's and Heartbreak. The Title is a Line from one of the songs on his album called Coldest Winter... peep it out. The song is about his mother that died a year ago... Anyways today was an up and down day for me. At first in the morning i was happy cause it was finally Tuesday which leaves one half day left till Thanksgiving Vacay. YaY! What made all this happiness fall was that I didn't get the part in the play.......... That really annoyed me. It wasn't cool cause of what I saw but I guess i have to suck it up. At least I'm innn the play. After looking at that dreadfull thing I have had chest pains all day for some reason. I should probably get that checked out. Today was also the Powder Puff Game... well it wasn't really what I was expecting... OK it was nothing I Expected. The underclassmen lost hard and it was just bad. Anyway now I'm home and watching some Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. (awww Good times)

Today was a good day. I think. Well not really... actually no it was a good day. Today for lunch they served an early Thanksgiving Feast. YUM! Me likee. I felt productive today. If there was work it was done. I was bored so I did Amanda's U.S. History Worksheets and filled in what she was missing just cause I was in a good ole mood. Yay. Then when the call backs came in... Stress creeps up on me. Shit! But it all ended with great complements by my peers. Right now Jay (Leno) is doing headlines (my favorite). The Jonas Brothers are on the show (WTF????) and for the first time in many weeks I finally picked up New Moon and started reading it... again. All I can say is that Bella has lost it. LOL.

Don't Believe the Hype

Yup that's right. Twilight the movie adaptation of a book was very disappointing. It was very awkward and predictable. Yet the audience in the theater were still going ahhhhhh when Bella and Edward kiss. I scream out SHUT UP! The thing about the movie is that the cast is just (no homo) Beautiful. Bella was hot, Bella's mom was hot, Bellas dad was hot, Jacob was hot, Jesus Christ it was just beautiful people. It was like watching an Ambercrombie and Fitch movie... just with Vampires. Another gay thing was that they cut corners a lot. Overall it was ok. But if there was no book then the movie would have sucked really hard.

So to recap my week I made it on the play again. I'm going to audition for one of the Wickersham Brothers. And to do that I have to sound like Rick James on Super Freak. I am not kidding. And Twilight comes out tomorrow... yeah it's coming out.

Upside to it is that the football team won big today.
They move up the standings to the States Game.
If they do make it to states they would play for a State Championship game in Giants Stadium.

First day of school since break...

I think i got smarter lol. The down side of today is that my voice kinda dyed. Thank god that the play auditions got rescheduled to next week. When I got home I automatically hit the books and then crashed, watched some family guy, watched some of The Departed, then listened to some Disney songs. (a little stroll on memory lane) I got Bio Mid-terms tomorrow and I am ready to ace that thing so hard lol.

Saturday was a total bummer.  I left South Jersey in the morning just so i can play golf... it rained it poured and god took a huge piss on my day.  Thanks to this i had to go to Jersey City to eat horrible chicken empanadas.  Then I rode many miles to Hills Borough... yeah I don't know where that is neither.  But the bright side of this is that I got to see my baby cousin. She is a cute little sleeper.  The baby sleeps like a bear in hibernation. Then after that I hit the Taco Bell.  One man, 5 tacos, 5 packets of fire sauce, 1 large pepsi... YUM. Finally I round off the day with 30 Rock Season 2.  *guilty pleasure*

During the week off I have been down in south jersey all week. I visited Philadelphia today and the place was painted red, white, and a little blue. Reason is that the Phillies (Baseball Team) just won the world series and Barack Obama just won the election so it was a pretty bright colored and smug day in Philly... Also today I got the 30 Rock Season 2 Set (YAY) Bummer that the week is almost over. *bleh* I still haven't studied for stupid finals and Schnieders stupid mid term is due on Wednesday... Damn yo...

I was watching "Saving Private Ryan" two weeks before I actually wanted to write. I submitted this to the Metamorphosis Poetry Contest and lost. But I'm still proud of this poem so enjoy.

Booming sounds
Guns shots going off round by round
Shouting crowds
Mounds of dead lying on this bloody beach
Moving to the other side seems hard to reach
To breach or be deceased
But at least when this is over you can go back to your love
The only thing stopping you is raining bullets from high above
Shove, shoot, avoid getting shot
All these men have to remember that this is no walk
No stroll at the park
Your friend lost his arm
He lays there crying
Wishing he would just die and relocate to the stars
The sight scars your heart
This whole mission is falling apart

You wake up later finding that your leg has flown the coop
